The mountains dance silver snakes
And the highland charge like wax-hued elephants.
Vying with heaven in stature.
On a fine day,the land,
Clad in white,adorned in red,
Crows more enchanting.
This land so rich in beauty
Has made countless heroes bow in homage.

2.千里冰封,
Thousands of leagues flies snow.
3.万里雪飘.
Behold!Within and without the Great Wall The boundless land is clad in white,
4.望长城内外,惟馀莽莽.
And up and down the Yellow River,all The endless waves are lost to sight.
5.大河上下,顿失滔滔.
Mountains like silver serpents dancing,Highlands like waxy elephants advancing,
6.山舞银蛇,原驰蜡象
All try to match the sky in height.
7.欲与天公试比高.
Wait till the day is fine
8.须晴日,
And see the fair bask in sparkling sunshine,What an enchanting sight!
