I just partly agree with this pricinple.
if you only care about your good feeling or
emotion,you seem to be too selfish.But you
can not go too far,that's to say,just ignore
what happens around you or your boss's face,
or just pass away when someone is killing
someone on the street.I can't ignore this
things happen.I can't ignore cheating
around you when our world value declines
in this society.no,absolutely not.any way,
all these things make me sick and annoyed
all the time,I am just thinking of giving
up,so many friends ask me to go another
way,just please myself as long as I am
happy.what I dislikes is becoming what
I should stick to.

那个。。个人是这么理解的。。如果你会因为自己见死不救而内疚，但却还是见死不救，那么便是违背了自己的快乐原则了——你将为此而长期承受内疚感。。。当然，这个建立在你已经培养起了做人的基本良心的条件下。
所以对于一个有道德心的人来说，所谓的快乐原则不违背道德吧，就像你不会因为在人多的小店里买东西的时候店主...

所以对于一个有道德心的人来说，所谓的快乐原则不违背道德吧，就像你不会因为在人多的小店里买东西的时候店主不知道你没付钱就偷窃一样（这话真拗口呀）那样的话自己都会觉得为了这点小便宜而不安实在不值得吧。。或者为了自身利益得罪朋友的时候，也会让自己很不舒服吧。。。总之，让自己良心不安，绝对有损快乐。。
那么。。楼主的矛盾是在于什么呢。。lz认为享乐主义自私自利是不对的，那么无私的博爱的胸襟给lz带来困扰了（比如天天脑子里想着非洲儿童在挨饿因此吃不下饭睡不着觉）？还是说..因为太乐善好施急他人所急所以给家人和朋友造成了困扰，以至于他们对此进行投诉了？
如果以上两种问题都没有发生的话，那就说明一切正常呀，为什么要改变呢？或者说，为什么会有人劝你改变呢？
其实...关注自己内心真正的情绪和需要真的很重要= =（这人语无伦次的）

我还是用中文吧````其实这种现象不管在哪都十分普遍，袖手旁观本来就是人的本性。还有一种责任分担的心理，就是如果你一个人看到别人落水，你很可能会去救他，但是如果有很多人围观你可能就会想着别人去救他...事不关己高高挂起，现在的家长一般都是这么教育孩子，枪打出头鸟嘛，但是身为一个有良知的人，我们应该在考虑切身利益同时而不能一味地selfish。。我很能理解你这种矛盾的感受，我只是希望你能坚持这种无私...
