(一)My favourite movie
　　I Remember Mama is my favourite American movie.Education has been a primary concern in many traditional families.In I Remember Mama,Martha and her husband Lars show high respect for education.Especially Martha,she plays an influential role within her family.She tells her children that knowledge is priceless.
　　They invite Mr.Hyde to read them books in the evening.Although Mr.Hyde has left them a collection of his books without getting paid a couple months of rents,Martha does not get angry with him.Instead,she tells her children that the value of all of his books have greatly exceeded the total amount of his unpaid rents.Nevertheless,Martha and Lars always encourage and support their children to keep on pursing their educational goals.
　　It is very important for children to understand their family values.
　　(二)The Man I Respect Most
　　My father is the man I respect most.Stern as he may be,he never fails to show his care and consideration.Once I broke a neighbor's window.Seeing nobody around,I ran away immediately.When Dad came home,he noticed my uneasiness and asked me what had happened.
　　I could only tell him the truth.Rather than scold me,he praised my honesty and then encouraged me to apologize to our neighbor.I learned from this episode that not only does Dad take care of our health but he also teaches us how to be good citizens.How lucky I am to have such a good father!
　　(三)My pets
　　Today more and more people keep animals for pets,like dogs,cats,rabbits,birds,fish,and so on.Some people think that animals often make rooms dirty and smelly.Even though keeping a pet takes time and costs money.I think pets will bring us a lot of fun.
　　Three years ago my uncle gave me a dog,a naughty dog.I liked it very much.the dog was about one year old.I called him taotao.His two eyes are just like big lamps,both big and bright.He has long and white hair which makes him look like a white ball.His nose is like a button next to the eyes.He has a cute look.when we have meal he looks at us and barks at us.He seems to say:” why don’t you give me something to eat”
　　What a lovely dog!I like it very much!
