至于上述几位所说的,带了for就要加冠词the
其实也不然,如果不需要很明确特指的话
take/assume responsibility for完全没有问题
比如：
India must take responsibility for polio eradication
印度必须为消灭脊髓灰质炎承担责任
其实我个人认为,理解the和a要从特指和泛指去看~而不是从词组中死记要不要用冠词
2 half a,half of the都代表一半
我看过half the responsibility,虽然不代表我没见过就是没有
不过如果表达中没有必要的话还是不用的.
我们说half an hour却不说half of the hour
说half of the world却不说half a world.
我觉得还是需要根据所跟的名词的特殊性,以及所用的语境.
所谓独木不成林,一个词还是比较难断定其所以然的.

take the responsibility for--承担对----责任 （这个须加the）
以上两个take 都可以直接换成assume进行同义转换。
2. 一半责任 half of the/one's responsibility
很多时候读起来比较顺，比较流畅就好。语感很重要啊！...
