DELIVERY AND STORAGE
All materials and equipment received on site shall be stored safely and securely having regard for protection against dust,dirt and dampness.The Contractor shall be responsible for making all arrangements with other contractors,in the terms of the contract,for the moving into position of his equipment,erection,alignment,completing and testing.
Checks and tests shall be made to prove that the equipment has not been damaged in transit and that it has been received in good condition.Any deficiencies shall be reported to the Engineer.
During the course of erection the Contractor shall take all precautions necessary to prevent damage arising from inclement weather,exposure to the atmosphere and the effects of other workmen in the area.
The equipment shall be tested in accordance with the requirements of the specifications and other procedures laid down relating to associated equipment such as driven loads.
