I visited this hotel in Setpember 2 0 0 1 on a 4 days honeymoon package that included a 3 nights stay in a very cosy villa with your private pool,garden,bar,a dining area a decent bedroom and an outdoor conceptual bath balinese style.Mind you it is completely private and you could run around naked not being noticed.The place is 15 minutes drive from beach and its great that they provide complimentary transport within 15 to 20 mins of the hotel.they drop you off and pick you up when you have finished.
The package came with a romantic candle night dinner and photo shoot,a lunch,5 hours of massages and spa therapy( massage not very commendable but ok) but i would rate the massage 3 out of 5,a tour to tanah lot and a photo shoot in a balinese wedding costume.
The staff at the villas were very humble and down to earth and never took a no for an answer.Bali nyuh gading villa overall was a good experience.The front office manager Mr.Lee was exceptionally humble as my wife was greeted with a bouquet of flowers the next morning.The head chef was always humble and willing to learn.We gave them ideas on how to improve the resort and food further and because we were vegetarians they went all out to see we got something vegetarian.Nevertheless the resort does not have full fledge restaurant but more of a mini kitchen serving basic food.Food needs improvement though.Same food is prepared every morning for the complimentary breakfast but Mr.Lee has promised to look at improving it very soon by giving his guest a choice.We were nevertheless given the choice of breakfast we requested.They need to make available a complimentary wireless internet service in general for the entire resort.
We were also treated to visit another resort of theirs Prima Villas very exclusively designed and we were quite impressed with it.We would come here the next time.
Also to our surprise we were upgraded to a larger villa on the 3rd night where all arrangements for our candle night dinner were made there.A photographer was also arranged for the night to record our precious moments.The pool and dining areas were lighted with candles.Despite the minor short comings we would go back to nyuh gading villa for sure.
