Skipping Classes on College Campus
It's quite common that college students skip classes.Whenever you enter a classroom during school time,you can always see that most of the seats are empty.Many students are not present.In some classrooms for higher grades,the situation is worse.The whole classroom is hardly empty.Where are these students?And why do they play truant?
The reasons are as follow.Firstly,attending every class is not a rule in college,which differs to a middle school.They can graduate with a degree as long as they pass the examinations related to their majors.Secondly,many students are not strict with themselves.They think that they are in college now and they needn't study so hard as they do before.They spend much time doing something they like,such as dating and playing games outside the campus.Thirdly,in China,many graduates can not find a job.So,some students are busy preparing for their career plans,going from one company to another.They try to find a dream job before they step out of the campus.
Hower,attending courses is still an very important way for a student to acquire professional knowledge,and playing truant is not good for them.Therefore,some treasures should be taken to deal with the problem.To my mind,our government should try to offer more positions for the graduates.Meanwhile,some school rules should be made to prevent students from skipping classes .

　　For whatever reasons, skipping classes does bring negative effects on students’ study. Therefore, it is necessary to take some effective measures to reduce this phenomenon. On the one hand, the school and teachers should make students realize the negative effects of skipping classes and increase their consciousness of attending the class. On the other hand, teachers have to improve their teaching quality to attract students’ interests. Only in this way can the phenomenon of skipping classes be reduced as soon as possibly.
