1.Many people are concerned about China is becoming "a land of lock",more and more residents are feeling less safe if they don't put heavy security door or fit the window with bars.Now when we walk on the street,look around the residential area,you will find all the entry are heavily "locked",some of the urban citizens even complained if you don't bar your window,some reckless burglars will manage to use the bar downstairs as the "ladder" to get access to your window.
More and more security doors are installed outside the unit to prevent thieves steal their bicycles.Under this circumstances,many owners of private business made bizarre decisions such as one of them decided to lock all the fire doors so that thieves won't take adventage of the emergency escaping passage as a rounte to break in.
In my opinion,people like to "lock" all the entry is due to their sense of less secure,lock is something to help them feel safe.Everyday we hear from news about the crime story and we witnessed how vulnerable people are when they are robbed,and that reinforced our sense of insecurity.In order to change this,we have to start to reverse the negative thoughts in people's mind,we have to show them lock can't solve all the problems,but our thought can.We all need to help others,so when we are in danger,other people will give us a hand.That's why the government are so eager to promote the concept of "harmony" .
2.Say "thanks" to My Mother
My Mother is a kind and gentle woman.She is always very gentle.She takes good care of her children and keeps them all at school.I have one brother and two sistets.So she gets four children in all.She gives us every comfort.We all love her and she loves us also.
My mother has too much to do in bringing us up.As our family is too poor to keep a servant,my mother has always to do very much work.She gets up very early and sleeps very late every day.She works hard,yet without complaining.
She is also a thrifty,and industrious woman.She saves every cent that she can and keeps everything in order.As she has been busy eversince she was young,she looks older than she really is.Her face is wrinkled,her hair becomes silver white,but she works as hard as ever.
Often she says to us,"work while you work,play while you play.If you do not work,you will become lazy and of no use to society." What piece of good advice this is!We must worth it well and always keep it in our mind.

1 A Picnic
It was a sunny day. We decided to have a picnic outside the city. In the morning, we took an early bus to Nanhui. It was quite a colorful world. there were GREen trees, orange leaves,red peach blossoms. At noon, we reached the place, we sat by the river bank and took out a lot of things, such as bread, orange juice, apples, cakes, eggs and so on. But all of a sudden, it began to rain. Unluckily there was no shelter nearby. We had to take a bus to go back home in a hurry.
What an unforgettable picnic it was!
