A; I think these days the money professional athletes make is too much.In return for playing for some years,they get tens or hundreds times of the money average people make.Don't you think so?
B:That's true.For example,Alex Rodriguez in New York Yankees recently agreed to play some more years in return for getting 30 million dollars.What an incredible amount of money he made!
A:More serious problem is that their huge amount of salary causes us to spend more money too.Let me explain why.If a famous star in a sports team gets high salary,the team has to earn much more money in order to make for the money spent on the player.Therefore the team has no choice but to increase the price of ticket or broadcasting fee,which in turn will be imposed on consumer,us.
B:I also agree with your thought.But there is one important thing we have to consider here.In general,the life span as sports players is limited to 10~20 years except for a few sports such as golf.In other words,they have to make most of their time as the players.It is difficult for most atheletes to get the job which gives them satisfying amount of salary.So taking into account this,there salary is a little bit justifiable.

Well, good question. I've been thinking, it's on the jobs that they're doing and the jobs that we do.
Oh, why?
Well, you see. There are only a certain amount of people who can be athletes, and they only choose the top ones to be the professional ones. So the number of people that can do the job is not much. But for our jobs, many people can do it with the right training.
