1. (Allied Materials?) Auto Parts, Inc. (2008.1-2010.8) as Product Mechanical Design Engineer
Duties: ● responsible for the 3D design structure of new products according to customer requirements and schedule, to ensure the quality of 3D
● to hold FMEA meeting inside the factory, to carry out initial planning on the feasibility of molding on new products, set up of production group, and the OTS recognized experimental projects
● to discuss and review with customers for new product design , modify 3D, and build a complete 3D file
● Tracking RP production and combined-car test , and perform 3D digital-to-analog changes focusing on problem areas of the combined-car tests, in order to match the variability of sheet metal
● carry out digital-to-analog amendments of the DVP issues to meet the OEM factory test standards.
2. Robbie Automotive Lighting Co., Ltd. (2010.9-now) as Product Design Engineer
Duties: ● produce 2D product drawing
● responsible for Chery Q22 headlight and rear-light design modifications, to make product design changes to match with the OEM product changes, revise CAD to ensure the correct implementation and product yield has been met.
● responsible for the B23 headlights increased daytime running lights data changes
● Complete PPAP design output data.
Main contributions:
1.\x09responsible for the YAMAHA.1S8 direction-light main project design, and perform design improvements and tests with YAMAHA
2.\x09 independently modified and validated the Buick Regal and RAV4 lights, tracked the mold problems and to design measures to correct the problems
3.\x09participated in the establishment of R & D standard parts library.
4.\x09participated in product design base establishment.
Professional Skills :
Familiar with a variety of lighting types and their structures, mold actuation mode, binding mode and theie optical functions, etc. . Proficient in all vehicle-lights evaluation benchmarks, and able to make recommendations for improvement on test results.
Familiar with the TS1694 series product design and development under the new process, and can accurately manage the deadlines. Proficient in CATIA surfaces, parts, reverse and other modules.
Familiar with the various vehicle-lights and their components evaluation benchmark standards.
