In the morning,I got up earlier and had breakfast fast.Then,I went to the nearest bathhouse with my father. On the way back home,we bought plenty of fireworks and firecrackers. What I liked most was a set of fireworks called Xingguangcuican in Chinese.I was told that It was beautiful enough to compete with any other kinds of fireworks. At three o'clock in the afternoon, we had a big meal. All the family members got togerther around the table.Beside my parents and me, there were my grandparents,my cousins and their parents.There were elven people altogether. During the dinner, we talked and laughed happily.At eight in the evening, we began to watch annual gala on CCTV. Needless to say ,everyone gave their comments on TV program.. The most exciting time came when it was half hour ahead of the middle night----the beginning of the new year. we all went out and lit the fireworks and fire crackers,which were exploding and lighting in the sky.
It would bring us good luck and fortune in the new year.What an unforgettable day! It will stay with me all of my life
The Spring Festival is the most important traditional one in China. As an important part of it, fireworks bring us happier atmosphere than usual. This Spring Festival, Dad bought lots of fireworks as last year. On the eve, he lighted them, and then they blossomed like flowers in the sky, with sweet sounds and brilliant light. How beautiful! I was deeply moved, though every Spring Festival I felt it. It brought me the beautiful feelings. At that moment I was buried in the sea of happiness. And also it made me feel more about the prosperity of our homeland.
Meanwhile, However, I was worried about the fireworks. First, setting off firecrackers made a tremendous noise and caused serious air pollution. Also children's safety faced the crisis of getting burned or injured in the eyes. What's worse, many dustmen's valuable time was wasted for fireworks pieces after being set off dirtied the environment.
So I thought some day we'll have to forbid making and setting off fireworks, though it's a Chinese custom for hundreds of years.

I hope that, we can have a happy and healthy life next year and everyone in my family can be happy.

A Happy Day
My parents and I always stay at home these days, but yesterday we went to my grandparents’home.
We got to the house at 10 a.m. I saw lots of wonderful things there.
There is fresh air and less pollution than Haimen there. My grandfather grows lots of trees, flowers and vegetables. He also feeds many animals, such as ducks, chicken, dogs. Oh, a really interesting garden! A wonderful and interesting zoo! There is a river near my grandparents’ house. At night, I can see a lot of stars there. I think that’s really great!
After lunch, my father and I wandered around the path enjoying the sunny spring sun. We talked to each other and learned from each other.
In the afternoon, my grandmother took me to visit their animals. My favourite animal is a dog; its name is “Ding Ding.” It has two big and bright eyes and a black and white tail. It has white fur all over its body. It looks really lovely! My grandmother also taught me how to wash flowers.
At supper, I ate my delicious food. My grandparents gave me too much to eat. I thanked them very much.
I enjoyed myself this day. I had a happy day!
