答案虽然说显然是which错了,但是我不明白rather than后面为什么不用focus?它不是平行的连词吗,那么who take a wide不就跟who focus on一起吗?难道是因为focus前面没有who所以要变成focusing吗?这样语法上的依据是什么?

故句中用focusing是把rather than 作为介词来用了.当然,若把rather than 作为并列连词来用,这里用focus也对,.
