Main responsibilities
Position tasks includes but not limited to
-Responsible for Assisting in all parts of company's operation are in accordance with regulations from Head Office,governmental bodies and local authorities at all times
-Responsible for assisting in payment and/or reimbursable of taxes,tariffs and fees
-Responsible for assisting in regular bookkeeping and financial reporting
-Responsible for updating files in accordance with Filing Plan
-Responsible for payment of suppliers
-Responsible to assist in the monthly financial closing process,reconciliation of ledger accounts and the financial year-end closing process
-Responsible for flagging problems and follow up
Accountabilities
The position-holder will be measured against:
-Financial deadlines
-Systematic and accurate nature,attention to detail
Qualifications
Mandatory requirements
-University degree with major in Accounting or similar
-Minimum 2 to 3 years relevant experience,familiar with marine product is preferred
-Good command of English language,written and spoken
-Good computer knowledge
-Good general knowledge of local financial and tax regulations
-Team oriented and able to work independently
Process Involvement
-As specified within GIMS
-Corporate quality documentation on intranet
-Local personnel handbook
-Employment contract
