海带一般生活在浅海里.海带全世界大约有30多种,亚洲地区有10多种.我国辽宁、山东、江苏、浙江、福建及广东省北部沿海均有养殖.野生海带在低潮线下2-3米深度岩石上均有.海带大多分布在温度较低、风浪较小的沿海和海湾,用附着器附着在浅海海底礁石、贝壳上,大量繁殖时形成一片水下森林.
海带-生长繁殖
海带属孢子植物,先在叶子上长出许多口袋一样的孢子囊,里面有许多孢子.孢子成熟时孢子囊破裂,里头的孢子就出来了,用两根鞭毛在海里游泳.当它们落在海底的岩石上,在适宜的条件下就会发芽长成一条海带.由于从北到南温差、光照等诸因素差异的影响,使海带的生长成熟期有早有迟,在同一海区或同一苗绳上的海带,其成熟期也有先后,所以,收获期从5月中旬延续到7月上旬.
海带-历史背景
古人说：(山珍海味).形容某些食物的珍贵美味,不易获得.在古代,海带(昆布)就是海味的一种,也是沿海地区及高丽扶桑与中原朝廷进贡贸易的珍物.建国前我国海带主要依赖于进口,我们日常见到的海带也称日本海带,原产于日本、朝鲜半岛和俄罗斯的太平洋海域,本世纪20年代来到中国.从50年代开始,中国科学院海洋研究所曾呈奎院士等和兄弟单位科学家创造了“海带夏苗育法”和“陶罐施肥法”,解决了海带南移栽培的关键问题,培育了高产、高碘新品种,使我国的海带年产量由1952年的62吨鲜品提高到现在的约60万吨干品（1吨干品约合6吨鲜品）,占世界海藻总产量的一半.此成果获得1978年全国科学大会奖.通过对南方海域水、肥条件的分析,采取合理方法,在我国长江以南沿海栽培海带成功,使我国的海带年产量跃居世界首位.这就是海带的南移栽培.通过连续自交、杂交、X射线诱变等传统育种手段,科学家们培育了一系列高产、高碘、耐高温、早熟的海带新品系,推动了海带栽培业的发展,奠定了我国在世界上“第一海藻栽培大国”的地位.
海带-生理特征
Generally live in shallow water in kelp.About 30 kinds of kelp around the world,Asia has more than 10 kinds.China Liaoning,Shandong,Jiangsu,Zhejiang,Fujian and the north coast of Guangdong Province are breeding.Wild kelp at low tide depth of 2-3 meters line the rocks are.Kelp are located in the lower temperature,wind and waves along the coast and the Gulf of smaller,attached with a device attached to rocks in the shallow seabed,shells,formed when a large population of the underwater forest.
Kelp - growth and reproduction
Kelp is a spore of plants,first leaves,grown for many pockets as the sporangia,which many spores.Spores mature sporangium rupture,spores inside and came out with two flagella to swim in the sea.When they fall on the sea rocks,in appropriate conditions will germinate and grow into a kelp.As the temperature difference from north to south,light and other factors influence the difference,so that growth of mature kelp have long been delayed,in the same sea area or the same seedling ropes of kelp,also have their maturity,so harvest from May extended to early mid-July.

The ancients said:(delicacy).Describe some of the precious food delicious,readily available.In ancient times,seaweed (kelp) is a kind of seafood as well as coastal areas and Korea Fuso tribute trade with the Central Plains court Zhen Wu.Kelp before the founding of our country depends on imports,we daily see kelp also known as the Japanese kelp,native to Japan,the Korean Peninsula and Russia's Pacific Ocean,20 years of this century to China.From the 50's,the Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Oceanology has Chengkui fellowship and fraternal units scientists created a "kelp Xiamiao Yu Law" and "pottery fertilization" to solve the key problems kelp moved south planting,cultivating high-yield,new varieties of iodine,so that annual production of seaweed in China in 1952 to 62 tons by the fresh product to the present about 600,000 tons of dry goods (1 ton of dried about 6 tons of fresh products),accounting for half of the world's seaweed production.This achievement was the National Science Congress Prize in 1978.Sea water on the south,the conditions of fertilizer,to take reasonable means,at the south coast of China's Yangtze River successfully cultivated kelp,kelp output of our country's largest in the world.This is the kelp cultivation southward.Through continuous self,hybridization,X-ray mutagenesis and other traditional breeding methods,scientists have developed a series high,iodine,high temperature,precocious kelp new lines,promoted the development of seaweed cultivation industry,laid the country in the world "The first seaweed cultivation power" status.
