My summer vocation
This is my first summer holiday of my university life. A month before the holiday, I made a perfect plan for it. Firstly, I will go to Tianjin to visit my good friend Anny. Then, we will travel to Beijing with another friend. We can go to Great-wall, Summer Palace, the Imperial Palace, and go to 798
to enjoy the modern art. We will not forget to eat the Beijing roast duck of QuanJude restaurant. After our tourism, I will find a pastime job in Beijing to enjoy the existence of my dream city. I think this vocation must be unforgettable for me. But plans can’t catch up with the changes. When my coach told me that we will assemble for training, I knew my perfect plan was forced to be abolished.
I am a member of the cheer squad in our school. This term we have took part in many competitions and achieved excellent scores. The next turn of the competition is coming soon, in order to win, we have to train in this summer. With a disappointment mood, we arrived the gym building of Yanta campus. The meeting-room is our dormitory and we all put our bed and bedding on the floor one by one. Then, we had a short meeting, our coach told us the assemble of training will be started tomorrow and we must be get ready for it. I knew, here comes a difficult time for me. First day, after the training, all of us felt tired and no one speaking. I laid on my bed and fell to sleep quickly.
During the training, we have learned many skills of the cheer squad, like jump up as the word “ C “, as two swallows flying together, as a scissor. These difficult skills made our team stronger than before and shorten the distance with those professional teams. During the month, the most unforgettable thing is puling our ligament. Our coach said: “No matter boys and girls, everyone must put your leg to your head straightly by your hand.” In teams of us, a group of adults, to achieve the requirement is impossible. But we can not escape. The process of it is agony and I can’t describe it clearly. But I can tell you the result: all girls cried and boys crashed the cushions with their yell. Then we found our coach turned back his head.
After a month of training, we have improved. Our emotion was better and we become more unite. I found the summer holiday is meaningful for me, and I believe, those people who never experience the training can’t understand our feeling. Finally, I want to say I am happy and contentment.
