Preparing a Meal
Mom and dad are going out today.Therefore,I have to prepare some meals for me and my sis to take.I am somewhat nervous so I wake up early in the morning to start preparing our breakfasts.I get us some oatmeal porridge and milk for morning.My sis decided to help me out in preparing the lunch so we just get started an hour before lunch to do some preparation.There are some noodles,eggs,meat,vegetables,fish and rice left in the refrigerator.I think that will be enough for both of us to have a plate of fried noodle by that afternoon.I add some meat and eggs while frying the noodles to variety our diet.Honestly,even it seems terrible but it is way more delicious than its look.After lunch,we just spend our time by watching the TV.We have some rice,fried fish and veg for night.It is really a disaster when frying the fish; it is more difficult than frying the noodle.We take a long time to clean up the mess in the kitchen.Although we decided to wait for mom and dad to come home,we were exhausted in preparing meals for ourselves.As a result,we just went to bed without waiting for them.
My Computer
I think the most interesting thing in my family is my computer.My father bought it for me 3 years ago.
Then it became one of my close friends.It can teach me to learn English,Math,and Chinese.Besides,I can surf the Internet through it.If I am tired of learning,I can also play some interesting games with my friends through the Internet.I hope when I grow up,I can learn more and more knowledge about the computer and become a good computer engineer in the future.
Protection of Environment
There are still many problems of environmental protection in recent years.One of the most serious problems is the serious pollution of air,water and soil.The polluted air does great harm to people鈥檚 health.The polluted water causes diseases and death.What is more,vegetation had been greatly reduced with the rapid growth of modern cities.
To protect the environment,governments of many countries have done a lot.They are playing the most important role in the environmental protection today.In my opinion,to protect environment,the government must take measures that are even more concrete.We should let them know that destroying environment means destroying humankind themselves.
My Favorite TV Program
My favorite TV program is Happy Dictionary.
First,it is a good program,which helps us to learn more.The knowledge we gain in class is limited,so it is important for us students to learn more after school.It makes us have a better knowledge of our life and society.
What鈥檚 more,the program is very fun and relaxing.It is suitable for not only students but also the whole family.It contributes to the communication between the families.It helps live happier and happier.

My Favorite Holiday
There are many holidays for Chinese people,such as National day,May Day,etc.However,Chinese people look on spring festival as their most important one of all.Known as the Chinese New Year,it is the most important holiday in China.From late January to early February,Chinese people are busy preparing for the New Year.They clean their houses,have their haircut,and buy new clothes.Dumpling is most popular.To those who live far away from their home,this festival is also a family reunion occasion.The first day of the New Year is the time when people visit their friends and wish each other good luck in the New Year.
In addition,it is my favorite festival,especially when I was a child,because In those days,I could have a plenty of delicious food to eat,enjoy a very long holiday and wear beautiful clothes.And what is more important is that I could receive much new year's gift money.Therefore,every year,I expected the spring festival would come soon.After I grew up,it is no longer as important to me as before,for I can have my delicious food and wear my favorite clothes every day.It is as if I am having spring festival every day!
The Changes in Our School
I have been in this school for five years.In the past five years,quite a few changes have taken place here.On one side of the road,there is a new classroom building.On the other side,where the playground was three years ago,now stand another new building-our library.The playground is now in the front of the school.We have also planted many trees in and around our school.I think our school is much more beautiful than before.

From next week on,I don't need to go to school any more,and I can't wait to welcome the coming winter vacation!
What I'm thinking is relaxing myself and having a good rest,like maybe reading some books,or watching tv.My mom would be happy if I do the chores.What's more,I will hang out with friends and enjoy the time with them.

We have just moved into a new flat，like most people here living in their houses in the suburbs. Our house is big though it consists only two floors.
On the first floor there is the dining room， the lounge or sitting room， the kitchen and the hall. In the hall we set a stand for hats， coats and umbrellas. A staircase leads from the hall to the landing on the second floor； On this floor there are four bedrooms， a bathroom and a lavatory.
In front of the house we have a small garden in which we grow flowers： roses，tulips and some fruit trees. Thereis also a vegetable garden where we grow all kinds of vegetables， such as cabbages， cauliflowers， and tomatoes. We all know how to plant vegetables for my father was once a vegetable grower.
At the side of the house is a garage. We haven't got a car up to now， but my moths said： we'd have one at the end of this year. People ，in this high-consumer city are very rich， not like the people live in the inland，cities.
