应该是：民为贵,社稷次之,君为轻.

以上据说是一本书上的翻译.这里顺便贴一下“社稷”的意思：
“社稷”是一个特指名词.社,古代指土地之神；古代又把祭土地的地方、日子和礼都叫社.稷,指五谷之神.故“社稷”从字面来看是说土谷之神.由于古时的君主为了祈求国事太平,平谷丰登,每年都要到郊外祭祀土地和五谷神.社稷也就成了国家的象征,后来人们就用“社稷”来代表国家.
不过我觉得没有必要按照社稷的字面意思翻译,不如说：
(In a state)the people are the most important,the nation is the next,the ruler is of least importance.

Mencius said: "Your name, boat followed the king of light."

Menzi said: Your name, boat followed the king of light.

孟子曰：“名为贵，社稷次之，君为轻。”
The people are the most important in a nation; land and grain are the next; the sovereign is the least important.
