the woman who first crossed her path did not stop or ask what was wrong.i guess that made me turn around.i took her arm and gently pulled her back from the road,asking her what had happened.crying,she told me she had given her "friend"the last of her money-five dollars,and then the friend had disappeared.she was hurt and disappointed about trusting another person!
i calmed her down a bit,and then started walking with her towards the bus station.i held her arm and she started walking more steadily ,at the bus station i told her to sit down.i showed her the cash machine i was going to so that she would not feel abandoned again when i walked away.and i handed her ten dollars.then i gave her some tissues and got her a cup of tea from there,isaid goodbye to her.
though i have debts and live off welfare myself,helping that woman makes me feel warm and happy.everyone may need help sometimes,and if we help others,we may also get something that is valuable,like a beautiful starwhich shines in our life.if we give our love to each other,the world will be filled with happiness.
