文章上的翻译：考古学家发现在十一世纪和十二世纪期间,即使是最与世隔绝的居民也能从很远的地方获得陶器,可能还有食物,而重大的宗教活动为这种分享食物和手工艺品提供了机会.
1） the most isolated residences——residences只有(n.住址)的意思,有居民的意思吗?
2）如果翻译为“即使是最与世隔绝的居民也能从很远的地方获得陶器”.为什么不写成“could obtain”,感觉这样的意思没有表达出来.
