实际上,look up the dictionary 和 look the dictionary up 从语法上来说都是正确的,但有时候动词短语后跟的名词或名词性词组太长,容易造成理解上的误解,所以不管从习惯上还是理解上来说会用look up the dictionary

两句相比,第二句更清楚.
