本文从国内外同领域研究现状出发,首先运用传统的统计理论对影响人身保险需求的因素进行了细致分析.然后运用传统的计量经济理论,采用OLS回归技术作分析,通过实证研究文章所选取变量之间的相关性、画出自变量和因变量之间的散点图和趋势图、进行Granger因果关系检验、Breusch-Godfrey自相关检验、采用逐步回归法进行多重共线性检验等建立计量经济模型.结果发现选取的各解释变量对人身险保费收入均有影响,且GDP的增长和人身险业自身的发展是人身险保费收入增长的根本动因；城镇居民人均可支配收入变量为非平稳时间序列；一年定期存款利率和储蓄存款余额引起严重的多重共线性；模型设定不存在自相关问题.在此基础上,文章最后可操作性的提出了增进宁夏保费收入的政策建议.
