A选项中,a number of 后面只能接可数名词.plenty of 既可以接可数也可以接不可数.


B选项the number of翻译为“数量”,而不是翻译为“很多”,所以错了.a lot of可数不可数都ok.
C选项.all kinds of 翻译为“各式各样的”,修饰人的话,也可以讲得通,但a great deal 修饰不可数名词,后面要加of,所以错在此.
D选项,a large amount of 只能接可数,不能修饰infomation,所以错了.
选A,翻译为失败,破裂.B翻译为离开,挣脱,与某人决裂.C翻译为发生,一般指不好的事,如灾难,战争等.D一般翻译为破门而入,分裂成,与句意不符.
选B,只有B选项后面才能接finished,表示被动,状态,结果,而其他选项都应该是the project was finished才表示被动,因为project 不能自己finish而是被finish,.B,这里翻译为“项目完成了”他们提前回家了.A选项,如果用as,as表示两个同步发生的动作或行为,意思是随着-----的发展,而这句话,两个动作是有先后的,项目完成了,他们才回家,所以as不对.C和D都是错在主动被动.
B.前面的句子是个时间状语从句,not until 表示“.时候才.”已经就是个时间状语了,后面就不用when了,用that 直接连就可以了.
