wander主要用作动词，意为“无目的地的闲逛、漫游、徘徊”等。

wonder作动词时，可作及物和不及物动词，但以及物动词更为多见。后面常跟who, what, why, whose, whether, how, when等疑问词。用不及物动词时，则常与at 或about搭配。无论是及物还是不及物动词，其释义为“惊异”、“想知道”等。例如：
