Topic:There are a lot of things taking place in the event described below.Please explain from a social psychological perspective some of the things that are taking place.You have one page only.Please do not take up more than the space provided on 1 answer sheet and please include identifiable theories.You will be graded on analytical accuracy as well as grammar and spelling.Any text beyond the given space will not be read.
Situation:
Officer:How was the man in the green shirt involved?
Witness:"A man in a white shirt was sailing in his boat going east.It was raining a little and windy and a mast broke on his boat and almost hit him.He shouted and expressed how angry he was saying a lot of bad words.Another person,the unkind man there with the green shirt on a boat near his,heard his shout and told him to 'shut up you' with a lot of bad words,and he explained that he was trying to sleep in a loud voice.Then the first man,from his boat,threw a glass bottle of coke over to the other man's boat and broke a hole in the side of the boat.Then the second man turned his boat to ram it into the side of the first man's boat.The boats both sank and both men swam to the beach where there were a lot of families enjoying the sunshine and ocean water.The two men from the boats started to fight.In fighting they fell onto a man's dog.So the dog owner started to hit one of the men.Another man,a black man,in attempting to help was hit and started to hit back.Then a Chinese woman started screaming at the group of men to stop,a baby was crying,and someone hit the woman.So the woman picked up a chair and was stopped by another woman who she then proceeded to fight.In all,by the end of the matter,when the police were finally able to break up the beach fight there were more than 75 people taking part in the event,fighting,screaming,throwing things,blankets catching on fire etc." And that's all I saw officer.
