1.exhaust silencer
a.exhaust noise attenuation shall be provided to satisfy the following requirements:In accordance with requirements of the central Pollution Control Board(latest notification)
b.The silencer shall be manufactured from steel and shall have flanged connections.
c.The silencer shall be supported from the DG canopy structure with help of flexible coupling in exhaust pipeline so that there is no stress imposed on the engine.
d.Emission shall be compliance to CPCB emission norms of MOE.
2.Insulation and sheathing
a.Insulation and sheathing shall be provided over all exhaust piping including the silencer.
b.Insulation shall be adequately rated and sized to limit the sheathing temperature to no more than 75℃ at full load.Insulation shall be glass wool type with a temperature rating not less than 550℃.
c.Sheating shall be 1.2mm minimum sheet ,machine folded and with suitable bolted clamps for securing to the insulation.
7.Rating Plate
The rating place shall be of corrosion resistant metal and shall be fixed by screws to the stator and exciter frame.The plates shall include all the information specified in the relevand Standards.
8.Over speed:
Generators shall be capable of withstanding,without mechanical damage or permanent distortion,the over speed requirements of the prime mover.
9.Vibration
The amplitude of vibration shall not exceed the values specified.
10.Finish
All Components shall be fully tropicalised.
The canopy external surface shall be powder coated with Ivory White Finish Colour.
The Seller shall supply a quantity of paint for field ‘touch up’.
11.Special Tools:
All special tools including shims etc.,which are required for installation and maintenance shall be supplied with the equipment.
