Allen: The title of our discussion is: What are you excepting to get from
the university education? It is a tough question for me because I didn't
want to go to university at all, so let along my expectations.
Bob: Really? You do have started your university since last year. I am sure
you expect something from it. What I can tell you is I expect to achieve
good enough results so I can pursue an academic life later.
Carina:A pure academic? No, that will be the last thing in the world for
me to do. I expect learn the basic skills in the management of human resources.
Dayna: My subject is art and I expect I can master all the necessary knowledge

Allen:That is ambitious. For me I only expect to graduate on time. I don't
think I have learnt anything in university. My subject is sport science
because I love sports.
What I am learning consists bit of this or that, Biomechanics, Physiology,
Anatomy and Psychology etc. To be truthful, I don't know whether these
knowledge are useful.
Bob:I think they are if you want to be sport coach afterwards. I expect
to learn all the necessary methods well enough so I can use them in my future
research.
Carina:We all learn methods, but they are different for different subjects.
I am studying a software that can be used to analysis the psychological
state by asking some questions.
Dayna:That is true. I am also learning different art design methods even
some I don't think I would use it at all in my future. Sometime I think,
how lovely it will be if the university can reduce the mount of lectures
and give us more time to discuss our ideas or share our experiences.
Carina:Yes, I agree. I have found I can learn a lot through doing project
with others.
Allen:For me I have to remember a lot of terminologies and the interrelations
between muscles, bones and movement. So I cannot avoid doing this by project
work.
Bob:The problem for me the software are advancing too fast. But I have no
choice.
