This was my first camping trip, so I was very excited, hoping to meet and make more friends through this trip.
We finally arrived at our campsite after a three-hour bus ride. Our teachers first taught us how to set up our tents. It turned out to be something easier thought than done. Our tent went down as soon as it was set up, which made me and my friend frustrated. Others came to the rescue at that moment, they helped us found out what went wrong. So finally we had a small shelter.
Then the teachers divided all of us into groups of two. We introduced ourselves and asked each other seven questions. Through this activity, we got to know each other better. It also helped us new students merge into our new life faster.
Then we took another bus ride to the seaside. It was a hot day, and the sun was shining bright, but when we took a walk at the seaside, the terrible feeling was suddenly gone. Instead, we felt happy and at ease. The sea seems to have magic, and it can make people temporarily forget their troubles.
When evening came, our school arranged for a speech given by a humorous guy. Although we did not quite understand everything, we still could figure out that he was trying to get us think about life's goals and work hard to achieve them.
