The young and the old
It is common knowledge that there are quite a few differences between the young and the old.Of course that not only refers to their ages,but also is related to their habits,ways of life and attitudes toward things.As a result,the generation gap appears.
Nevertheless,both of them have their own merits.The old have rich experience and deep understanding of life.They are steady and cautious when coping with problems,and know more answers to various questions in the world.They have undergone hardships and are aware that life is not always easy.They believe that their careers are the most important thing and they never divorce their wives or husbands rashly.The young are full of vigour and vitality.They have the courage to think and act.There is more time for them to try new things and they are quite ready to accept new ideas and new changes.They are the real masters of the future.
The young should respect the old and learn from their experience while the old should love and care for the young and help them to become mature and make great progress.

When the young man starts to earn his own living, he becomes free from disciplim of school and parents; but at the same time he is forced to accept responsibilities. He can no longer expect others to pay for his food, his clothes, and his room, but has to work if he wants to live comfortably. If he spends most of his time playing about in the way that he used to as a child, he will go hungry. And if he breaks the laws of society as he used to break the laws of his parents, he may go to prison. If, however, he works hard, keeps out of trouble and has good health, he can have the great happiness of seeing himself make steady progress in his job and of building up for himself his own position in society.
Old age has always been thought of as the worst age to be; but it is not necessary for the old to be unhappy. With old age should come wisdom and the ability to help others with advice wisely given. The old can have the joy of seeing their children making progress in life; they can, if their life has been a useful one, feel the happiness of having come through the battle of life safely and of life safely and of having reached a time when they can lie back and rest, leaving others to continue the fight.

The young always desire a certain identity, and that is one of the things they are busily engaged in seeking. The old have got the answer, so they stop thier pace for persuing,and just enjoy once experience of seeking.
