It has been widely noted that,with the growing use of mobile phones and computers,less people tend to write letters.Some people even think we will lose the skill of writing letters forever.The public’s attitudes towards this phenomenon vary form person to person..I agree with this point of view .The reasons are given below
My first reason is for the efficiency of mobile phones and computers.What you can write in letter can also be sent by computers.Besides,Information can be sent to you friends or clients more faster by means of mobile phone and computers.They travel through the optical cable with the speed of light,much faster than that of any vehicles .A classic example of this can be best provided by Email.People who have used r Email will understand this easily.What they has type into the computer will get to the destination immediately after you click the key of enter.
The further reason why I advocate the use of computers and mobile phones is that the transportation system used by Post office to send letters will bring us environment problems.Cars will release fumes or gases,including carbon dioxide and nitrogen compound.Those gases will contribute to the deterioration of the green house effect.
However,as the old saying goes,”every coin has two side”,the growing use of mobile phones and computers also give rise to a number of problems.They may refuse to work if there is a breakdown because of a virus or a technical failure.
Taking into account all these factors ,we may safely draw conclusion with the growing use of mobile phones and computers,in the future ,people will no longer write letters and they will lost the skill.
