求一篇250字的《my fair lady》的英文简介
"My fair lady" is a rather old movie, which I have watched years ago.Of course I wouldn't able to recall the exact details of that now.But I do remember the stars were Rex Harrison and Audrey Hepburn, and again they were the older generation of movie stars. Many of you may not even heard of their names. The other famous movies the two appeared in were,Rex Harrison's "Doctor Dolittle" that was the original musical one different from Eddie Murphy's latest version. And for Audrey Hepburn, many older people would know that "Breakfast at Tiffany" was her best known work.
Now back to the "My fair lady",it was a story about British class difference.Involving of a lower class flower girl (played by Hepburn) and a high society manner tutor professor (played by Harrison). But I can't recalled their first encounter, how Hepburn ended up in Harrison's home and was being taught to act and speak proper classy English. The whole thing seemed was a wager, which Harrison must be able to transform Hepburn into an elegant lady in a certain length of time in order to win.
Of course there were plenty of incidents during the course and a few laughters as well, such as when Hepburn was made to take a bath, which she had never had before and thought that the hot water would burn her! Also there were many good songs, but unfortunately,I couldn't remember a single one of them. The only lyric I can still recall well was,"In Spain,it rains mainly in the plain".And that was part of the program, which Harrison was using to teach Hepburn to speak better English.
There were some very funny moments too when Harrison took Hepburn to the horse racings in order for her to practice classy conversation with the high society.Quite some witty and crafty sentences were spoken at the race by Hepurn but eventually she said something funny, which no one there had ever heard off,and that I believe she said "done in" a slang from the London market place instead of "died" or "dead".
So,the movie is about English class difference, and to tell the true,I forgot how the story ends...
