Nowadays more and more people are concerned about their health.But how to keep healthy?Different people may give different answers to this question.In my opinion,it is essential to do the following.
First,it is absolutely necessary to take some exercise every day.Research shows that getting plenty of exercise make the heart beat faster and the lungs work harder.This strengthens the heart,reduces the chance of heart attack,and helps lower blood pressure.That's why more and more people are becoming active in various kinds of sports and exercises.Every morning many people get up early and take much exercise.Some practice shadowboxing and swordplay while others run,jog,walk or dance to music.In the afternoon,there are also many people keen on sports.Some play basketball or volleyball or table tennis,others go in for gymnastics or track events.Through sports and exercise,people become healthier and stronger.
Medical researchers have proved that what people eat affects their health.They advise people to eat more fruit and vegetables and less meat such as beef and pork because meat contains more fat than poultry and fish.Fat can build up in the arteries,block the flow of blood,and cause a heart attack or stroke.
Getting rid of bad habits like smoking and drinking alcohol is also an important way to keep healthy.Smoking and drinking alcohol injure one's health a great deal,and therefore should be given up.Unfortunately few people follow this advice.
If people follow these three ways of keeping fit,they greatly improve their health.

Today, people sit much of the time by the computers, eat fast food, lay in bed until midday on weekends; However, more often than ever would they like to talk about health. When ask them to get up and get some exercises, to quit these bad habits like smoking or drinking, They will give you a serious look and become full of excuses. Often but not today, people don't know much knowledge of health. I don't think I want to go any further to talk about how to keep healthy because I think most of the people have already had enough knowledge about all the risks and consequences of these bad habits in their lives. Whereas, what the problem really is about is that they cannot figure out how essential it is to do some exercises now, to stop eating fast food from today, to toss your cigarettes in the trash right away and to start scheduling for the weekends and get up early on week day mornings. Unfortunately, when we get this far, people will say it's all about the stress and time which you as a student wouldn't be able to understand. No I don't. I don't understand why they'd have to handle stress by smoking or drinking. I don't know if it really helps at all. But I do know every time I'm doing exercises, I feel like relieved. That's one of the ways I deal with my stress and it really works. Moreover, let's talk about time. People go to McDonald's and grab a burger for meal. Ask them, "what's the rush?" And they will be like, "I just don't have the time to cook or for a sit-down meal." Then you let him go. But next thing you see is that he is sitting on a bench and playing games by his cellphone while eating. Yes, he'd rather saving the time for playing with a little gadget. I don't have much to say but I'm telling you: if you really care about yourself and your family, dump your excuses to the trash and take actions. Go to the gym, eat healthy, quit smoking and don't sit too much. either you do or you don't, it's as simple as that.
