Recently our class had a debate on whether it is necessary to have cosmetic surgery.
Some students are in favour of the behaviour. They think that it’s just human nature to want to have good looks. What’s more, a good appearance can help make a good impression and increase self-
confidence.
However, other students hold the opposite view. Their reasons are as follows. Firstly, cosmetic surgery is very expensive and sometimes dangerous. Secondly, poor cosmetic surgery can have a bad effect on health.
In my opinion, as everyone will become old, outer beauty can’t last forever. So what we should do is to improve our inner beauty by getting more knowledge.
