a time when I worked hard..
I was never a hard working person, not that I’m lazy, it’s just that sometimes I can’t be bothered and doesn’t put enough effort into work. However just last week when one of my friend had failed her end of the year exam, I realized that the same thing is going to happen to me if I don’t work hard enough. So last week, I started to work a lot harder. Everyday once I get home, I start to do my homework. At the first few days it was very hard to concentrate, but now I’m much better. I removed all the distractions from my room, such as my laptop, food and TV, and it really helped me to concentrate more. Now I can get everything done on time, and I learn everything so much faster. Yesterday I got my English exam back and found that I have got an A plus. I am so happy.

when i was a child,my family was extremely poor.Therefore, i got up early every day to cook breakfast for my family for my parents were busy in doing business.At that time, i always walked to school because only by doing so i could save money for my family.When it rained cats and dogs, i would suffer from coldness and helplessness. However, i would frequently overcame the obstacle by myself.I believed that nothing could prevent me from walking forward. Once i arrived school i devoted myself to study and never spare much time to playing.Naturally, i always got high marks and became the excellent student in the class, but i never felt overly proud of myself. what i knew was that i should do well everthing to resume the responsibility for my family.It was really a hard time for me. but it was a happy time for me.
