那遇到前面有两个结构上能指代（格,单复数一样）但是意思上有一个不能指代（例如冰箱很好吃）的指代时,算错么?
我还是举个例子吧~：
Despite research on the diagnosis of heart disease and the use of increasingly sophisticated technology in (((its))) treatment,the condition of coronary arteries is still difficult to assess precisely.
((()))内的东西到底指代什么呢?
答案说它的指代没有错误.
结构上：我们可以看到it指代一个物,它可以是：research,diagnosis ,heart disease,the use(这里是名词吧) ,technology
意思上：其他的东西好像都不能被治疗,只有heart diasese在逻辑上符合的.
回到我的问题,对于这种结构上指代不明确,但是逻辑上指代明确的代词,我们算它正确还是错误呢?
到底代词指代是什么意思,是否只要不造成歧义和（数量,格上的错误）就正确了?
例如：
The cat likes to play football which makes it very tired.
这里it可以指代football,cat,但是意思上,只能指代cat,请问这句算不算错?
Mary told her mother that she works really hard.
这里的she指代就有问题了吧?不知道指的是Mary还是她母?

楼主正确的,只要有一定的逻辑关系,说的通的不存在指代不明,如果是两个人 后面是he or she.就存在指代不明了

首先，无视新东方，它每次都让我confuse，相信自己的分析吧
Despite research on the diagnosis of heart disease and the use of increasingly sophisticated technology in (((its))) treatment, the condition of coronary arteries is still difficult to assess precisely.
我觉得这里并不是结构指代不明确啊。（research on the diagnosis of heart disease）（the use of increasingly sophisticated technology in (((its))) treatment）看到着两个名词短语了没？中间是and连接的。这两个名词短语的结构都很清晰。research对应the use，on对应of，diagnosis对应technology。因此it就自然而然联想到“heart disease”了。
另外，分析一下你的例子
The cat likes to play football which makes it very tired.
which显然指代football。所以it就自然而然是cat了。
Mary told her mother that she works really hard.
（这里的she指代就有问题了吧？不知道指的是Mary还是她母？）
很对，我觉得这里出现了指代问题。
然后其他的一堆问题嘛……我觉得这样说吧。SAT出得题目考虑一个人逻辑的严谨性。如果像Mary的那个例子，在sat里应该不是对的，但是在又剧情的小说里或者对方知道你想表达什么的时候可以这样。
什么是指代清楚什么指代不清我也说不清，仁者见仁智者见智吧，呵呵
