说句实在话,一直以来,我认我在英语方面应该可以独占鳌头,但是我错了,昨天的课把我从虚荣的光环中拉了出来,对此我十分感谢庞老师和您
同时,我还要感谢昨天我旁边的那位同学,我发现,在他面前,我自愧不如他,我认为自己并不不是学不好,而是没有动力

First of all, I feel so honored for hearing your speech yesterday.
As a listener yesterday, I felt the distance between me and my friends in Baogang No. 9, 1 and 5 Middle Schools.
Factually speaking, I thought I could stand out in English learning area. However, it proved to be my self-proud when I listened to your class yesterday. In respect of this, I greatly appreciate Mr. Pang and you. At the same time, I would like to appreciate the friend sat beside me yesterday. I felt ashamed in front of him, when I noticed the distance in language learning. I realized it is not I cannot study well, but only I lack motivations for studying English.
The noticed distance made me so heavy last night. Therefore, I decided and I would keep on learning English well.
Abraham Lincoln, the former American President, once said, the determination to succeed counts most.
I believe, I can do it as anybody can.
It is said, Rome was not built in oneday.
I believe, I can succeed in one day!
Let you and Mr. Pang to witness my success!
