其次,这里如果用不定式的话可以说得过去,但如果深究的话,to在这里有一些将来时的感觉,类似be going to ...,与主句中的事态不符.

如果用to comlain that he had been ill-treated by the police
则表示将来时,一般不这样用
to do sth 表目的更有将来时的意味。
