FUNDAMENTALS OF MARKETING
This course describes many aspects in marketing and marketing strategy planning.At its essence,marketing strategy planning is about figuring out how to do a superior job of satisfying customers.It should lead to decisions about a target market and marketing mix that represents the best opportunity and competitive advantage for the firm and superior value for customers.The marketing mix,also called the “four Ps” (Product,Price,Place,and Promotion),are basic elements learned in this course.The unifying focus of the ideas of marketing mix is on how to make the marketing decisions that a manager must make in deciding what consumers to focus on and how best to meet their needs.Beside the four Ps,marketing aspects described in this course includes:Marketing Concept as the philosophy for marketers; Marketing strategy; Segmenting the market and positioning; Marketing environment; Consumer behavior; Marketing information system.
