Dear Student's Mother:
I think you are wrong by trying to your child to study abroad against the student's own will.
The reason I believe you are wrong are below:
1)it is the student's life and future, not yours. The student should have his/her right to choose the future for his/her own happiness. Someone's meat is another's poison. You should not force your opinion on your child.
2) If your child is not willing to study abroad, even if the child goes under your force, he/she would be miserable and has no interest in study. If your child has no interest, his/her study would not be good. Your child might waste your money, his/her time and energy.
Your intension is good for your child. But what is more important is that your child realizes how good it is for the future, then, your child will go happily. I suggest that you peacefully discuss this option with your child and lead him/her into your way of thinking until your child changes to the positive attitude towards studying abroad.
