Yesterday Once More
I have been a Carpenter's fan since I was about 12 years old.I first heard Top of the World in my aunt's car,and that was it .I was hooked .I was and still am amazed by the songs and that voice.The talent that comes across in each song is just amazing.Not a day goes by that I don't listen to one of their CDs.The Carpenter's will outlast all of the rest and are irreplacable!Thank you Richard and Karen for giving the whole world the best that the music world will ever hear .
I would like to start by saying how much Karen & Richard have influenced a lot of things in my life in many different ways.
They both have such amazing talents,how can you describe in one sentence just how wonderful they are
What made the Carpenters music so special,and raises it above the earlier-mentioned'70s duos was that beneath the smiling sheen of the Capenters squeaky clean image,their toothy grins and matching sweaters,Karen Carpenter was battling pain and loneliness that her voice coudn't hide.
A fan once sighed with emotion,"Her songs are heavenly and her talent for songwriting is rare in this world ." Would you agree?
评价这篇文章原因：在我读高一的时候因为看到一个同学小小日记,被女英语老师(27岁)鼓励.我看到,我这个人也很想被英语老师评价鼓励.所以就在我一本英语书.看一段就抄一段.拼成下面这篇文章-- Yesterday Once More --也写日记给英语老师.我不懂英语,这文章是4个外国人写的.那本书有翻译.我写了这英语文章.那女英语老师上课,第一次叫我我记得很清楚.喊我座位号,我起来sorry,我下去.喊我名字,我说sorry.天天叫我回答问题.只要是她的课.在高一的时候叫我不下50次~几乎一个星期7节英语课,他都叫我上来,我都说sorry,.我开始害怕-到高一的时候还叫我.最后一次叫我去讲台跟他讨论一张地图.我不去.说sorry .他教了过3个星期就走了.换个男英语老师.我不上到讲台跟他讨论地图,她就从此不叫同学回答问题!我感觉自己有罪!
