提问者所不能理解的是这个：it's worth remembering 中的 it 是 remember 的逻辑宾语,是remember 这一行为的承受者,所以应该用被动语态,形式上应该是 it's worth being remembered才对,但是这就与正确的表达方式相矛盾了.
楼上的同仁认为是固定搭配,所以不能用被动语态.我却要提出不同意见：it's worth being remembered 一样符合 be worth doing 的形式啊,it 确实是逻辑宾语啊,为什么不能用被动语态呢?（就事论事,决无人身攻击之意）
实际上,这是一个固定搭配不假,但是问题的关键在于这种固定用法制种隐藏的逻辑主语.加上逻辑主语后,句子变成：it's worth your/his/her/… remembering.语法里面不一定这样讲,但是凡固定搭配,都与其所表达的含义有逻辑联系.remembering 本来是动名词形式,但是在固定搭配形成之后,这一点被忽略了.
个人观点,仅供参考.
