For immediate release
By December 2009,all space of the main venue Shanghai Exhibition Center had been sold for the CIBS 2010 exhibition.Comparing with last year,a large number of exhibitors confirmed their booths much earlier.This positive feedback is a result of a warming-up economical environment and increasing marketing budgets from more brands after the downturn period.
Around 400 domestic & international brands will be present at CIBS2010,amongst approximately 50% are boat & yacht exhibitors,equipments and accessories at 40%,while lifestyle and relevant services occupy the rest 10%.Visitors are also paying more attention by setting CIBS visit intro their schedule.By mid January,online visitor registrations reached a 36% increase comparing same time last year.
New faces will attend CIBS2010:Ocean Alexander Marine,a Taiwan manufacturer who is participating CIBS for the first time,is the exclusive supplier of VIP shuttle boats for 2010 Shanghai World Expo; Shanghai Choisi Yacht,which was formerly a professional of high-end furniture design,will bring their creative yacht interior design supported by French designers; Shanghai Senhuan,a quality wooden material supplier who has just started their business in the yacht industry by producing teakwood deck,will start up their new brand marketing in CIBS2010.Another Taiwan yacht brand Shing Sheng Fa Boat will present their models of work boats,as well as 54 feet and 80 feet yachts; Jiangsu Xinsheng,who is popular for fishing boats,is planning to display 6 to 7 yachts out their latest design produced by imported moulds from New Zealand.Another newcomer is sailboat producer Yantai Leading,inflatable’s and on-water sports crafts Shanghai Leeward’s,Australia motorboat brand Evolution Yachts and Italian brand Cantieri Navali Reali are all expected to bring more highlights to CIBS 2010.
Beside the new faces at CIBS 2010 we are honored to welcome our long established & regular customers at the showing including many international brands,such as The Bénéteau Group,nine brands of The Ferretti Group,The Azimut-Benetti Group,Brunswick,Sunseeker,Princess,Aicon,Bavaria,Heesen,Tricon; as well as domestic giants Shanghai Double Hapiness,Changzhou FRP,Wuxi Dongfang,Zhuhai Sunbird,Zhuhai Jianglong,Xiamen Hansheng,Shanghai Yihong,Foshan Poly,Guangzhou Minhua,Qingdao Nauticsta,and many more.
National pavilions are more actively exhibiting in CIBS 2010,as for a perfect warming-up performance towards the 2010 Shanghai World Expo,scheduled to have a great opening ceremony in just 20 days after the boat show.The Australian pavilion continues participation,while the New Zealand returns to CIBS after two years’ absence; the Italian Pavilion will have more exhibitors involved for the upcoming show presenting more brands from Italy interested in the Chinese marine industry.Year 2010 will be the last time of CIBS staging in the historical and graceful Shanghai Exhibition Center.After the World Expo,CIBS will move to the Expo Garden which is a brand new modern venue to cater for our exhibitors at CIBS 2011.As the longest-established and largest boat show in Asia we are all excited to head for another brand new journey and provide an attractive venue with brand new facilities to our exhibitors.
The official on-water display venue,Shanghai Yacht Club,is expecting more than 15 luxury yachts on display and for testing this year,amongst one French brand catamaran will be the first-ever record shown on the Huangpu River.Based on the display of 7 yachts for the last edition,the downtown marina and club is now ready and in a much better condition to operate and to host VIP buyers at its classy facilities.
