There has never been perfect happiness.The perfect status of human beings does not exist.No matter what the happiness is,it lies neither in possession nor achievement,but in the process of purchasing it.We should realize that we are not born to enjoy happiness,but to strive for it.Happiness always lies in front,and in our life time when we go on striving for it and gain enlightenment.We judge a nation,not from the emphasis on what it possesses or what does it want,but on what it is striving for.

There is never perpect happiness.No perfect situation exists actually.Whatever else happiness is, it is neither possession of one's own, nor realization for something,but the process of pursuing.We should keep it in mind all the time that our born right is not to enjoy happiness, but to pursue happiness.Because happiness lies with pursuing itself,lies with meaningful affairs we struggle our lives for and learn from.That is to say, the process of pursuing.The judgement to a nation doesn't depend on what it has possessed or what it is aimed at, but what it is pursuing.
小弟只能达到这种水平了，还希望其他大虾有更好的翻译。
搂主翻译的总体上意思比较明确，但却不是地道的英语用法。第二句我感觉有点Chenglish，第三句没有it is be 的用法，as well as 的用法欠妥。
当然我也不一定达到多好的水平，以上只是我的个人意见。希望大家一起努力，翻译可不是一朝一夕的，我们大家共勉。呵呵

这篇中文很怪。首先有很多语法的错误：1.无论幸福可能是别的什么东西，它既不在于拥有也不在于实现，而是在于追求的过程。----既然说了幸福在于追求的过程，又说幸福可能是别的什么东西，自相矛盾。2.对于一个民族的评价不是在于看它拥有什么或是想要拥有什么，而是看他想要并在追求什么。 ----‘想要拥有什么’和‘想要什么’不是一回事吗？再者，它有太多的重复，‘幸福在于追求的过程’这句话反反复复讲了三遍，而文中并没有并没有对这句抽象的句子的内涵作分析。如果这样的文章交给语文老师，他的批语一定是：罗嗦重复，隔靴搔痒。
那么这么的短文干嘛要翻译呢？
