there is a prevalent saying "experieces give us perceptional knowledge,while books give us rational knowledge".It is true,we learn from the pain of our last experiences,we know what is correct to do when faced with another same condition.books sober our minds,they teach us to predict and speculate,those abilities prevent ourselves from unneccesary pains.

Books are essentials of us modern citizens,although they are gradually presented as more different faces,e-book,for instance.But the core spirit of those substantial books is constant,that is to help people to have a short-cut to knowledge.
