其实答案就是你说的后一句情况.即：可以百分百肯定是个定语从句!
那有很多人要问了,这个定从不缺成分啊?怎么能用that呢?
答案是：这里的that并不是关系代词,而是关系副词!
通常情况that都是做关代的,但有两种情况可以做关副：
一、在the way作先行词时,定从中不缺成份,应用that作关副,亦可省略.如：
I don't like the way (that) he talked to me.
二、在time作先行词,且time表示次数的时候,应该用that作关副.通常不可省.如：
That was the first time that I saw such an exciting show.
至于有人说的The moment/Immiediately 的句子,与我们讨论的句子有本质不同.The moment/immediately本身就可做连接词并引导时间状语从句,所以当然不用再额外加连接词了.

其实这里的 that 视为一个 虚词。
