网景领航员（Netscape Navigator）又称导航者,是网景公司开发的网络浏览器,简称是NN,这名称正式被用在1.0-4.08版的部份. 之后在版本4之后,领航员和邮件软件、网页编辑软件等组合成为网络套件,命名为网景通讯家族.之后该套件从Netscape 6到Netscape 7之间又更名为Netscape,此时Netscape Navigator也更名为Navigator.版本8的时候更名为Netscape Browser但是因为认知的程度不好所以版本9的时候又改回为Netscape Navigator的名称. 在安全性问题的修正上,相对于Internet Explorer使用patch修正,Netscape Navigator则是以版本升级的方式更新. 2007年12月28日,AOL正式宣布停止对网景导航者的开发工作.技术支持在2008年2月1日终止,之后AOL不会再发布安全补丁
