1.一般来说,whatever=no matter what（当然,不是什么时候都能换用的）,不能说no matter not的,再说也和后面接不上.
2.prevent sb.(from) doing sth.——阻止某人做某事,这是固定词组.句意为“约翰的病阻止了他明天参加比赛”.也可以说stop sb.from doing sth.,但没有这个选项呀.
