On the way to life,we may meet lots of difficulties and sadness.We can cry or we can smile.But we shouldn’t give up our dreams.We should try to smile at life.

I failed in a maths quiz last semester. I studied hard and I could not believe I still did not get to pass. The first a few days I thought about the quiz all the time. I felt hopeless and almost gave up. Then I talked to my parents. Surprisingly, they did not blame me as other parents often do. The only thing they said to me was that sometimes efforts and time are not what success is all about but strategies. I was encouraged and I made up my mind. Instead of doing extra exercises, I spent more time on reading the textbook to interpret the concepts better. Thanks to my parents, not only did I make it to pass, but also made a great progress on the next quiz. Now I feel confident in maths.
