To Be Polite
One day,Bill and Tom went to a restaurant for dinner.
As soon as the waiter served two steaks,Bill quickly chose
the bigger steak for himself.Tom wasn't happy.
Tom:When are you going to learn to be polite,Bill?
Bill:Lf you had the chance to pick first,which one would you pick?
Tom:Tom smaller steak,of course.
Bill:What are you complaining about then?The smaller steak is what you want,right.
There are four people in my family,my parents,my bother and I.My family is pretty good.I’m really happy.
My brother is very funny.He is good at sports and does well in volleyball.But he hates studying and his grades are bad.He like telling jokes.
My father is a doctor.He works in a hospital .He doesn’t like watching TV,but he likes reading newspaper and read it every night.
My mother works in a restaurant.She likes eating vegetables and drinking milk every day.But I don’t like milk.It is awful.
I love each person in my family.I love my sweet warm home.
THE GOAL IN LIFE
As is known to everybody,the knowledge is power and money.If I were a college student,I would be the happiest person in the world.I would pursue my favorite hobby…study English .
Since college life is meant to be independent,I might give free scope to my real talent.Furthermore,I might participate in social and national reconstruction projects.I would abide by my principles by reading more add enriching myself so that I might be of greater use to society upon my graduation day.
Last Sunday I went to the park with my friends.There were many people in it though it was very hot.When we were walking in the park,we saw a little boy crying near the lake.We asked him why he was so sad.He said nothing and pointed to the lake.We were puzzled and surprised."What's wrong?Who is in the water?Your mum?Your dad?" The boy didn't answer.We wanted to help him,but we can't.
After a while,a puppy came out of the water.The boy picked it up and smiled.Oh,my God.
