How nice to hear from you again.
You have mentioned in your previous letter that you are curious about what has been going on in primary schools in China, since the load-reducing policy is carried out. Then I'm going to show you something in details.
Things have begun to improve since schools were called on to reduce learning load. I don't know much about others, but for me it used to be common to attend after-school learning classes or even stay up late into night at weekends with endless homework. Now that new policies are released, then I have more free time and as a result, I can follow my own interests such as reading books, visiting museums, and taking computer lessons. In the evenings, I can watch news on TV or read newspapers. What's more, I can go to bed earlier. As far as I know, everyone is happy about this new arrangement of things.

Dear Sir,
I am a English major student at Fudan University, having learned English for many years from the age of 11.
Currently I develop a huge interest in American literature, and in my future plan, I would like to apply for the 2-year intensive course for it at New York Language Center in the U.S.A., after my graduation in the year 2009 .
