“need”双重角色的用法及其区别
“need”既可以作情态动词,也可以作实义动词,但是它们的用法不同.
1）need用作情态动词的时候表示“需要”或“必须”,通常用于否定句和疑问句.
疑问句式：need +主语+动词原形+...
eg.Need you go home right now?
否定句：主语+ needn't +动词原形+...
eg:He needn't worry about it．
You needn't do the work now.
2而作为实义动词时,适用于肯定、疑问、否定皆可.
通常用法是：
肯定句式：
人＋need ＋to do
物＋need ＋doing
物＋need ＋to be done
疑问句式：Do + 主语 + need + to do sth/doing sth/to be done?
否定句直接在need前边加don't或者doesnt就可以.
另外,“need”后还可以直接跟名词.请看下面的例子：
